Healing with crystals, anyone do this ? Does it really help ?

Hi Desiree,

I have used crystals from time to time. They can be used to help stimulate our energies. I think the more open a person is they better they will be able to receive the energies of the crystal. That's not to say they don't work for a closed off person.. But those that are more intune will be able to use the energies faster so to speak.

I think I need to get some crystals !  I am in tune, so I would be receptive to receiving the crystal energies.

I have an assortment of crystals.. All for certain things. Usually I bought them for something in particular that I was facing, or needed help with. Sometimes i picked up one after hearing anothers stories with it.

If I was looking to start a crystal collection, do you have any basic suggestions as to which ones to get first ? Or would this depend on what I wanted to use the crystals for ?

Yes, I have used Crystals with reiki. If the person needs something I will add a crystal. As for your start. If you can I would say go to a metaphysical store and let yourself be guided to the crystal. Most will say they buy their crystals by the one that calls to them.

Quartz crystal is a good crystal to have, and I think any crystal user will tell you that they have it in their arsenal.

I will let you know which crystals I am guided to. And after I have a collection, or maybe before I have my collection of crystals.... I should probably get a book about crystals. Do you have any recommendations for one of these ? a favorite crystal author ?

I would like to experience this Reiki healing sometime. I have heard many good things about it.

I would say the best book to buy, and the most common one you hear, is the Crystal Bible By Judy Hall.
