Title: The mystery and lesson of time.
Post by: Jitendra Hy-do-u-no-us? on Oct 30, 2011 10:27 pm
Time has a subjective reality. This reality was known by Albert Einstein and the Masters have known it through out the ages. But we ourselves know that when things are going 'good' or we are having a wonderful meditation the quality of time speeds up. Although the soul lives in timelessness. When things are 'difficult' time seems to slow down. Saturn is the planet of time and makes us examine our lives through slowing down events so that we can make the proper adjustments to the karma we are working out. Time is constant teacher in relationships because we adjust our attitudes towards others and progress spiritually because of time as a teacher. Sometimes we let people go because too much time elapses without communication or seeing one another. To remember bad experiences in time with people we have known is a abuse of memory. Time is the best teacher but it kills all its students.

I would agree; Time does not kill its students except in the sense that we leave these physical bodies. Time only kills these physical forms we reside in for a short time.

People kill their students in relationships and time does appear to change things permanently between people. It often changes others around us to the point that it is difficult to believe we could have been so close and it really meant very little to some of us who have  professed love and friendship. It gives us an indication of the depth and concern of those close to us. It shows us who are real friends and who are only fair weathered friends. It proves or disproves the truth of spiritual love for those close to us.

Time can do nothing to those who know eternity. Eternity is what we share as spiritual beings. True spiritual love is not killed by time. Only people kill each other in their relationships. Relationships change through time. But people kill students of time. Time is only a witness of eternity. Eternity lives forever as do the people and relationships that live in it.

The limitations we put on our use of time with those we love and ultimately God defines our present state of consciousness.
