Title: Christ Consciousness
Post by: Jitendra Hy-do-u-no-us? on Dec 27, 2011 08:37 am
We must feel ourselves in the planets and the stars in every speck of space. Through others and their warnings God speaks to us. Many saw Jesus but did not realize who he was. They saw him just as a man.We should also be able to see others as more than men and women. Also as spirit and soul.

People make the erroneous assumption that God made Jesus perfect and sent him here. Yet this is not true. He worked many incarnations to achieve the liberation and consciousness he attained. Even on the last day Jesus faltered a little when he said 'Father; Why has thou forsaken me?'

The only way to be happy is to bring Christ in your life. That is: the Christ Consciousness.  We will be judged by our actions or lack of actions. Will they lead us to heavenly people and places? Will they make us happy? To what extent do we manifest Christ Consciousness? As you follow higher teachings and meditation you will be able to recognize the spiritual advancement of others.

I have seen this and even experienced this for myself and am so grateful for your post above Steve.
Interestingly, I've read stories of masters that take on the karma of their devotees. One story accounts of an enlightened being taking a beating from a stranger in order to relieve that strangers karma. This enlightened man intentionally provoked the passerby knowing full well what he would endure, he layed there smiling as he was bloodied up. I think Jesus took on a massive karma, even though he was tested to the full extent, he knew before hand he would be betrayed. Being a Master, death was nothing for Jesus, but we can see the suffering Christ endured was real. To have overcome "deaths sting" must mean his suffering was not his own but a great act of Love for his fathers creation. Maybe the man who took the beating recognized the God in this stranger and took his Karma believing he was serving God. To be that selfless must mean realization of the One.

Dear Steve,
I just read that during the last hour of Jesus' crucifixion his consciousness was slipping and his dying mind had resorted to repeating Psalms 20-22 which he had memorized. Though he was too weak to recite their entirety, his mind repeated these verses over and over into its finality. Those observing his death could see his lips moving and so would catch the occasional utterance, “I know the Lord will save his anointed,” “Your hand shall find out all my enemies,” and “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
It is recorded he endured severe physical harm up to the point of being nailed to the cross, had collapsed on the hike to his deathbed from exhaustion and died on the cross from the physical, emotional and spiritual anguish after hanging there for 5 and a half hours.
