Title: how to train your pscyhic sense

i want to be lighter and think going back on a diet and exercising will help train my psychic senses. i want to practice recalling things in detail, go outside and touch my tree- remember what it looked like, how it felt, the weather, the way the grass felt, what birds were around me. i think if we practice developing our normal senses- we're better off understanding the psychic ones ! every time i try to detach though from so many worldly things, they come back at me even harder- knocking me back to ground zero- like saying, wait a second- you're a part of this !

practice reading expressions of people on pictures
express your thoughts into words, be creative
practice recalling your dreams every morning
train your basic senses- visualize the way things feel, taste, etc
take a small time of the day and be still, walk slowly and touch things more with your hands- have the intent you're taking in all you can
strengthen your memory and exercise regularly, invest in moderating a healthy life style
paint, color, draw
sit in at different places, a crowded mall- a park with people, a downtown street, a country road- feel these places, observe your environment
look at people in their cars, watch others communicate from a safe distance
lay comfortably in the dark
receive plenty of sunlight
spend time with animals
pray regularly to connect with your spirit guides and bring all things psychic related into your life
exercise intuition, practice listening to the voice inside your head- or the feelings in your chest, which is right ?
seek clarity from your emotions yet listen and understand your heart
hold hands and hug your friends
read the eyes
do something that makes you uncomfortable
play with your imagination, read more and watch less television
play strategical games be creative
recognize synchronicity, keep an open mind

For myself,
I need to quit alcohol to bring these senses and experiences back and stronger than before ...
I won’t quit.

Thanks Steve. I do and have made some progress. I get mad at myself for not completely conquering or for falling back on outdated, comfortable ways of living. By saying I won’t quit I mean to say, I won’t give up on the long term goals. I will not stop.

Thanks. I believe we all do to some extent. Being self critical is a good way to find self improvement. We can also find ways to applause our accomplishments. I think i understand. Words can be misleading without an explanation when u see someone is not understanding you.

Although the forum is a wonderful place for us to express ourselves, it's not without its obstacles. Should we ever have the ability to meet, I feel some things we say here will be that much easier to understand as we get to feel out each others personalities and witness even the simplest of gestures in our exchange with one another.
