Title: praying for others so to make peace
Post by: guest88 on Jun 05, 2012 12:51 am
hello. so. i've had a lot of negative thoughts with some of my past encounters and experiences with/in relationships. i realize now though that most everyone that has entered my life and shared with me, is a blessing and has had something to offer for me in that time. i'm displeased with myself for holding and sharing negative thoughts about these people. even more so that i may never get the chance to say hello again- or see them. unless by, "chance" i've lost some of their numbers or we're in different places now. so i was just wondering if praying and sending them loving thoughts will not only make things right in myself, but if you believe it will also help or effect these people as well ? if they will feel or receive any of those loving thoughts even if i've never been able to make peace. and also if practicing this will help me cancle out these negative thoughts/words ? i'd like to feel peace within but also- do this not just for me, but i want both parties to feel happy and free when they reflect on their past encounters with me.

it is surprising to me how much we resonate together here and at other times.
closely related to finding peace with others is the idea of forgiveness
we are asked to forgive those who have injured us. unless we have first
judgecd and  condemned them for what they did there would be no reason for us to
forgive them. rather we would have to forgive ourselves for judging.
something I have to remember a lot ....judge not that you may not be judged.

when someone hurts us it stems from ignorance.    when we realize this....forgiving comes easier.  also... sometimes we may incorrectly interpret someones action.

Thank You Yoshi i always want to make an effort to understand before assuming the worst and always be open to the idea
that my decisions can be changed as i can also change myself for the better.

i would like to say...that i have been responding to posts lately via phone....my computer is acting up so i cannot reply in detail as i would via the puter.

i would like to add more to my post previous....or clairfy it.

actions...reactions....are either 'divine' or not divine...aka they are soul or not from soul.

every action i make....every action that is a reaction to me....i evaluate.  it is not really judgement...just evaluation.  it is not who is right or wrong.

guruji and christ say....non reaction is sometimes the best.....
