Title: Benefits of Reiki
Post by: Comet on Jan 27, 2013 07:49 pm
Time to dust this section off  and post here again!! LOL  ;D

The Benefits of Reiki is amazing if you have not had a Reiki section i highly recommend it cause it is awesome!! Since my 2nd shoulder injury and the year i had i went without Reiki and just recently got back into couple months ago i got one more session of 3 to schedule will do that soon!  I forgot how much i missed it!!

Here are some benefits of Reiki it really does help ground you and boosts your energy level! The thing that i notices this time around is that it really helps the emotional stuff and helps us release it all so much faster! It grounds us and your pain for a few days after is about gone depending on the situation and pain! You are so relaxed when your having a Reiki session that you tend to see aura's and feel amazing!!

Its funny most of you know my shoulder injuries and the tough couple years i had with it that you can actually feel the energy where it's stored in the shoulder the hands of the person get real hot it's kinda a cool feeling and experience! I will write down more experiences i have with it once i get back into Reiki!!

How many of you have experienced Reiki and how did you feel after a session??

I am very happy for u comet. i would b at a loss at knowing where to b involved here and what the cost would b. However i feel that if i see u then u could help me. u r also welcome to come out here and visit if u ever choose. It appears that Reiki is a very positive exprience in your life. We enjoy your encounter/experience with it. We possibly could visit my friend Tom and find out where he goes and has such wonderful expereinces with Reiki.

i wonder when and where this type of science began. Isn't it rather new? Or is it something that has been around for hundreds of years and just recently came to the United States?

Comet; i believe your constant presence and communication here is God sent: :)

Thanks Steve!! I kinda lost touch with Reiki and Spiritually these past couple of years dealing with my shoulder and worker's comp i was too exhausted to do anything so once i started to work through situations and break them down things got easier and kinda in the best place of my life and once i got back into Reiki it was awesome!!

I have yet to do Reiki on someone i have sent distant Reiki and people felt great after it!! Self healing is a huge benefit of Reiki too! I agree it has been a very positive experience i love it!

Thanks for the offer Steve I would love to come out there and visit you one of these days and your friend too! That would be cool to experience Reiki out there!! I'll see what happens after the workers comp case gets settled hope its soon!!

Reiki  i believe originated in Japan!! Here is a link on Reiki  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reiki  hope that helps explain it better!!

Thanks again for the kind words Steve but i am the one who feels blessed to have awesome friends like you and a cool forum to go to!! :)

My first experience with Reiki was in Fountain Hills, Arizona in 2009 and loved it!! Kinda funny the person that did the Reiki Session was from Wisconsin small world!! My cousin introduced me to her cousin's Body Lab Expo's a Holistic Healing and Psychic Fair and introduced me to an awesome Reiki Instructor everything just clicked and we get along great she owns a coffee shop and does NLP which is the next thing i wanna learn along with Sound Reiki Healing and Dowsing!! There are other stuff i wanna learn as well!!

I even took a year off from Expos might get back into it this weekend or when they come to my home town!! :)

Hi Morning Star,

Yes I got Certified a Reiki Master back in March 2011!! Haven't really started a business with it yet due to the setback of my shoulder but i am thinking of doing that one of these days! For now it's just distance and self healing but i love it! :)

i've attended one and really enjoyed the openness of the community. the oneness blessing was integrated in a guided meditation clearing chakras and live didgeridoo =D there was also a woman playing with tibetan singing bowls before everything started. it was really unique being able to experience the wonder of these ancient instruments and feel such a light and positive energy from the crowd. it was surreal. you can find a lot with a quick google search on it
see ya !

ps i don't know if i'll get around to it anytime soon but when i can sit and absorb more or if i do find a group session we can attend i'll be sure to bump this thread and keep you updated

thanks  :)

Comet

When i press various parts of the sole of my foot i feel nothing special. However when i wait a few moments there is an area that hurts abit afterwards. What is the explanation for this?

It is the inside area of the rite foot. The left side and in the middle of the sole. It also the same on the left foot. The sole at the waist side and to the far left. Is this a naturally more sensitive part of the foot? Seems to be less bone in that area.
