Hadn't really thought of thinking of God as service but rather keeping a steady flow of thoughts on God; as in practicing the presence. Yet we do serve through our thinking and using our brains so i can see the connection in that way.

He also said that only God can do karma yoga (selfless service).

My understanding is that as long as you have a concept of doership, it is not karma yoga. As long as you do anything with the idea that "I" am doing it, it isn't selfless service.

Hi Brock. This whole idea of believing we are real and separate from our source makes this reality dream like. Who is this 'i' that
appears to be doing all these things and who in fact is being challenged to react and get more caught up in this drama?
