Spiritual Portal

the other night my girlfriend and i decided to treat ourselves out to a sushi dinner at one of our favorite places. it was just us but we sat across a large party of 10. everyone was drinking. at one point the owner came out and started pouring crown royal into their mouths. we didn't partake but we enjoyed watching the typical roudy atmosphere building up from all the good vibrations being thrown around. it must have been someones birthday.
what really got me though was, in the midst of all this chaotic drinking and exchange of heavy laughter and finger pointing- once the food came out their entire group held hands and had a moment of silence to engage in prayer.
prayer is such a powerful thing, and even those not wanting to partake still held hands and gave respects to those praying for their meal. i thought it was so cool and later went home thinking of just how powerful prayer has been for me.

what it means for me though, is serious introspection. prayer has helped me understand my deeper desires and uncover hidden truths. the power of prayer has even had meditative or therapeutic effects. you learn a lot about yourself when you pray...

We can cross over space and time and reach others who past out of this dimension. We can reach out to others that we feel a connection to. We can help ourselves and others. Meditation leads us to that place where prayer is deep and meaningful and prayer can help us get closer to those we feel a strong connection with. We may not know if they feel that same connection with us but we can pray for them. Prayer is talking to God and meditation is listening. Eric... Thanks for sharing your path with us and your spiritual practice. Perhaps one main reason we have been friends so long is that we think of each other, reach out to each other, communicate and pray for one another.... and I have not yet even met u in the physical!

Nice episode to witness and recount!

We r creating another story mccoy. it is quite beautiful how friends create a 't.v.' show together. Each one acting out a different role as we interact together. Who needs to b entertained? We r creating our own real to life entertainment and in the process learning more and more about life. It doesn't take much to delight the likes of one such as i.

Eric has always taken quite a curious interest in nature and her splendid expression. He wrote much of the section on Indian totems. See under 'Caleema' ; 'The Mystery of Nature'. There r many pictures he took there also. Most of yours r under the science, space and astrology areas of the forum.  Nice pictures mccoy! Just about the time I may have thought he forgot about this entity he calls again.
