Title: watching and waiting
Post by: Steve Hydonus on Apr 23, 2016 09:08 pm
A fascinating attribute about human beings i have noted is this: Most all of us are watching and waiting for something to happen in our lives. Yet what we come to find out is that many times the things we have been waiting for do not turn out as we had thought or planned any how. This is because this creation is mixed with duality. We are unable to enjoy the things we get for very long any how.

So why not watch and wait for something more permanent that gives peace, joy and bliss? That is the eventual yields of meditation. If we construct our lives in such a way to include others who help us in finding out about ourselves and the true nature of this reality we will begin to understand the meaning of true happiness even while still having material desires. Those material desires simply loose their power over time.

Waiting is usually more fun than actually getting in the physical plane.

But spiritually speaking, we don't really have to wait, we can access peace, albeit hard to hold onto afterwards.
