I could b wrong. I thought i read that Italy will have major elections coming up soon.

Steve, I think it should be the popular poll on a major constitutional issue, but I'll have to make sure since I didn't follow much the news.
The poll is important because it's something strongly supported by the present government. Should the people answer 'NO', the government would be proved to be weak and without the support of the majority, hence political election should be needed.

This was the situation up to a couple of months ago, but I'll have to enquire now.

As of late, I've been following the earthquake issues, plus I'm in the middle of a major review of latest data in the field of nutrition. There have been some pretty interesting developments there.

They are usually on a regular basis, but when the government is evidently weak, then the opposition can request new elections before the allotted time.

i wonder if that would work also in United Clones. We have to impeach in Cloneland. Which is a long process and not too likely. It may be next to impossible to reclone a president with likely qualities meeting corporate specifications.
