You once suggested there'd be a reason why circumstance has me here with my parents. That it wasn't clear at first. Tonight my Mom told me, "thank God you still live here Eric," followed by a comment that I don't wish to share.

You see, she is dealing with a lot of stress and she does seem to find solace in my being here, despite my inability to always be kind or patient towards her. While I am here, I believe I have to work harder towards peace in the house and at the family level.

This is the same, to me, as choosing to work within. The house is a symbol for the inner sanctum.

This is an interesting comment Eric. Your understanding of your health issues and peace in your environment is essential to your meditation progress. We think of you daily in our prayers as well. No one can really understand our unusual relationship and may be quite surprised to find we enjoy one another’s company when we communicate in person.

You're right, taking my health into account is essential to my meditative practices/presence. I thank you for bumping this thread. Another true statement is, it is very good that I am still in my parents care. If it wasn't for them I don't know if I could have recovered as fast as I have. It's a mystery and practice of Faith- feeling God has protected me along the way and to know, I am in the right place at the right time.

To your comment... If it surprises people then I can only add it says a lot about assumptions and to note the difference of reading words on a screen versus exchanging words over the phone. Two different dynamics. But the more we talk over the phone, the easier it is to see the other person behind the screen. To understand and to feel un-phased by difference of opinion.

Yes it certainly appears that way. There are yet more dynamics to any relationship. Seeing each other in person and meditating together being a couple others. Although seeing you here affirms my thoughts that you are devoted to God, meditation and making attempts to understand your life with us! Which has brought us closer together as friends.

The best study is life itself. Truly the desire to work on self is a most humbling and loving adventure. It is a way to God-Realization, and I appreciate your thoughtful input.

I had a most wonderful meditation yesterday and included you in my prayers and peaceful vibration. It proves to me HIK's wisdom... The heart and mind are two different realities.
