It is really interesting to observe how after practicing meditation for over 45 years mantras just seem to flow up naturally in the mind. We can be sitting listening to a friend or our own inner thoughts and then we realize how the practice has influenced our life. Soon we are sitting up meditating again just watching those thoughts go by and listening patiently for the sound of Om or a moment between thoughts when we are drawn into this incredible peace and at times bliss.

Every once in a while we observe/recognize we have entered that meditative state free from compulsory thoughts and the human minds perception of the drudgery of practicing a discipline. The discipline pays off and in a moments of spiritual unfoldment we are in recognition of a higher reality that is taking place within us.
