dearest prabhabat, pronams , some of the souls here or ones whom visit briefly...may wonder why krishna is blue in color. (?) would , or could you, elaborate more for us ? i have a question. other than being depcited as blue...there also seems to be a cow depicted with him. i believe....always a brahmin cow...or brahmin cattle anyways.... christ....was a shephard. sheep herder. now...a master, avatar of god.....is depicted as herdsman...or Guru..... they watch over our souls....our souls shephards <3<3<3 the lamb...is like a soul. does the cow signify a soul also ? or acts as a metaphor like the lamb ? i have 'heard'....that one should be like that of a cow. a cow.....has many stomachs to digest the food.... and that a soul should digest ,,,,um,,( going way back here in the memory banks)))...should digest 'life' the same way. IDF & (((Hugs)))

Hi Blue Nova!
The Rama and Krishna born here. They must had the same skin color as we have. But over the time and to show that they were GOD and different, artist added blue color or so. Krishna was brought up by cow herdsmen similar to Cowboys. It is my opinion.

hi steve ! Have you celebrated the janmasthmi?
Yes prabhat funny you should ask. As if he is still reminding me. i was disciplined that day for forgetting the Master's birthday till later at nite. He is a bit jealous but i am flattered. i will not forget him again. He wants our love! ...and how was your celebration? Why did you ask? i will not ever forget janmasthmi. If it takes discipline for to me to remember.... so be it. We had a two hour service at the Lake Shrine. Perhaps someday you can come and visit. Krishna will always have a special meaning in my heart. Not all blessings are flattering! But having someone take a personal interest in my thoughts is; regardless of the consequences..... a small automobile accident.

Hi steve! That is very nice . Krishna is playing with you. I understand the atmosphere is different there as very few people knew about it. Here in my place nobody can forget it as loudspeakers are playing devotional music and every second household is preparing for the worship with fasting etc. I was a bit curious about you as we had a setback with my wife falling ill. We had shortened the celebration with worship in morning only though my small daughter enjoyed it thoroughly with bathing of small silver idol and feeding of sweets and swing of small pram.
Lake shrine must be a place to visit though my chances of going there is quite remote. Also an astrologer had predicted to my mother that two of his sons would go to foreign lands and already two of my brothers had tours of US and UK so it is likely that the quota is finished.
Jai Krishna Jai Radhe

Pronams to you and your understanding and helping me confirm my thoughts on this. Thank You sooooooo much for your understanding ways Prabhat. Krishna is mischievous with us. But he has been much more in my thoughts.
i had been spending long periods of time gazing on his splendid form trying to recognize what his significance is to one such as myself. Behind those thoughts is a slow dawning of the love that exists in such a great one. When we start to recognize that love is behind discipline as well as benefits we come to recognize that love is beyond the dualities of our own perceptions and the way we think divine ones should act.
Is your wife better now? It is also wonderful to hear of the majic of India and her romance with the divine. May our country cultivate such devotion to be in God's grace as well. We are very fortunate to have your avatars come to the west. i would like to know more and more about them. We pray for the good financial prosperity of your country as well!

Master says that a strong will is never stifled; it always finds a way. But he also speaks of different kinds of use of will; blind will and thinking will etc. We must discriminate to see what our will is and if it is not just a desire, wish or intention but rather we are using volition. No matter how impossible of accomplishment his goal may seem, the man of volition never stops repeating conscious acts of determinationmto achieve it, as long as he lives. Even if it takes manifesting this intention in a future life there is no better time then now to start in his/her determination. ((( prabhat and wife and family ))) keeping u in my thoughts and prayers... i am a 'western' yogihini...my heart belongs in motherland / India <3<3<3 god, guruji, and christ bless... ((((Hugs)))) blue
