waking up in a past life

just recently I woke up, in a past life

I was not where I was when I went to sleep, I was in a different time, a different place
I could smell the salt sea air, like I was near the water 

no people anywhere in sight
I was alone, like a moment in time, in a movie, where the film stopped

I wanted to see where I was, but it was like I had a blindfold on, total darkness
I spoke to the darkness, wanting answers

I heard echoes, in the silence......  " follow"

wandering in the darkness, like a gypsy soul

i am not so sure that you awoke in a past life...but rather you awakened to the Now.  hmm...sounds like hOMe to me...what a beautiful place it is....yes ?

what a long journey wandering in the darkness

the only thing that kept me going, in my absence

was I kept hearing the words " follow "

and so I did

and when I woke up, I saw
footprints in the sand

I felt sand between my toes
yet the footprints were not mine

Did u find something more meaningful in your absence; wandering in the darkness where u were told to follow? What have u learned along the way to share with us? U were near the water. The great ocean of spirit. Our ego is devoured by the darkness. The ocean of spirit calls us to follow in ways we can not fathom or understand we just follow and witness.
