i really don't like the concept of a sin because than it implies we're doing something wrong for experiencing life and exploring with the gift of free-will. i guess we've come to form what's right and wrong, subjectively and collectively... but there's always another perspective to something, another angle of light that holds the possibility to change what we once thought was wrong... this is good
i guess it all comes down to definition... what is a sin to you? who/what is jesus?
i think i read once, you said- a sin is something that pulls you away from god. but how have you come to know god and can, 'sinning' lead you to who or what god is ... ?

also... i think, i've read once... we live and die, every day. is it possible, when we release ourselves from a binding thought- we've, 'passed on' a part of us that has, in the past, pulled us away from god?

Key concept is ATTACH (NOT FLOW) to INDIVIDUATION EGO (instead of the Undivided, seamless). [/u]

Sometimes it is difficult to know if we are attached and beating a dead horse or if we are patient with others and giving them the benefit of the doubt....

Many/Most avatars work off the karma of their disciples on their own bodies. Jesus was an incredible emdodiment of love sacrificing his own life for his friends (and their sins and lack of understanding) in the name of love. Jesus, Yogananda and Amma are no exceptions to this. Yogananda was in a wheel chair at the end of his life. He was in physical pain but occasionally would stand up and walk proving that he was above the suffering. He was working off the karma/sins of his disciples. Amma was said to have cured others and the ailments would be worked out on her own body. One can only conjecture how much illness and disease she has been subjected too in her darshans. We have read about this in the Autobiography when Lahiri Mahasaya also worked off the karma of his disciples by bringing it on his own body.

How can we conceive of the love and compassion of such a Master and there willingness to work off the sin/karma of their disciples? i for one cannot comprehend such love. i do know as friends we endure the barbs and take on the sufferings of others. For those who are sensitive they realize this. Especially when they see others that run from the sight of seeing others suffer. Having a child one begins to understand how we are willing to endure suffering for their welfare.........

For love....
