Free Will is the key that sets the wheel of creation on it's head, and the dream viels and shadow dances flying off their centers...

What interests me is that the free will you speak of is symbolized in your chart at this time by the conjunction of several planets to your ascendent. Conjunctions more than any stellar influences denote the comingling of planetary forces for the free will choices  of the individual involved.

Namaste2All; at this time you have Uranus and Jupiter both going over your ascendent (rising sign) and conjunct your rising sign and natal Saturn. Sometimes we ask ourselves what came first; the chicken or the egg. Because your 'free will comments' only reaffirm the fate of your chart. By the way, the planet Saturn describes the fate of the individual more than any other planet and the planet Uranus describes the uncertain events that enter to the individuals life. So at this time you are rebelling to the fate of your life with free will choices to upset the cart. Set everything 'flying off their centers and creation on it's head' dear friend. This is your time!!!!

I'm trying to find the transit times (years) for the planets.   Do you have any basic answer to this. 

What is the basic, general significance of a transit over one's Ascendant - regardless of any other planetary alignments ?

This sounds familiar to me from our October visit... yet I'll need to absorb and re-read, and absorb... consider... 

P.S. - I attempted a split intended only to copy this out, but kinda split an buchered up the original thread... apologies I'm not forum edit savy to arrived at original intent. 

I will attempt to answer specific quieries about your chart in a followup. These transits to your Ascendent are long term and are in fact even stronger now then they were when I saw you. Perhaps you are also getting used to these new energies and have started to assimilate them into your life.

First what is the significance of the ascendent? The rising sign or ascendent is the window through which you look at the world. It shows as differences in temperament, disposition, physical appearance and personality. It is how the world perceives you before they really get to know you. The world sees what you project when you look out the window but it cannot see the whole you which resides behind the window or image you project outwardly. In this sense it also represents your physical body.

The ascendent is on the axis of the horizon in your chart. It is very personal it is one of the most sensitive parts of the chart. It is your environment. The closest environment; your body and what you are around in your closest personal associtaions.
