can deep emotional response indicate the works of karma ?

can karma in action reveal memories of a previous life ?

id been lost in the, 'victim mentality'
so emotionally involved
irrational and unsound in reason and action
maybe this is the way i've been in the past, this life or another
it is a deep fear that is often poked at with still an unclear understanding of its origin
want to free self from old paradigm through accepting responsibility for my doings
cultivate self worth and tap into an abundant source of peace/joy/happiness/compassion/love

Emotions are percolating in us from previous incarnations. It takes very little to trigger them. Yes are karma can reveal to us our past. We all have played the victim in some sense. When we start recognizing it there is a recognizing  awareness  of emotions and being victimized and it gives an indication of how we are dealing with it. The more it becomes apparent the less we want to play the same martyr role again. It becomes comical; Here i go again. Playing the fool. It just gets old after a while and we get tired of playing stale roles. Then it is time to find fresher acting roles that more suit our divine intentions.

Ah Jitendra,
I play the fool often. Seems I've not embraced the level of responsibility towards self-repair that I've long sought, it's a conflict of interest! Sip of wine or get out and go for a run?  Cheesy
Why not both?  Grin

There comes a point-thru often much suffering-that people want to change. They may take baby steps in that direction however they are changing. The path of a thousand miles starts with the first step. There are helpful ways to get there and helpful guides that keep is on track so we do not take too many dead end side paths. That is why you and I have gone to see various gurus and Masters from the past and living now. Their protection aids us even at times that we are self destructive to ourselves. Perhaps you have also noticed that. Furthermore you may have noticed that we are at times granted our desires when it is not to destructive. As Sri Yuktesear said; “Give the dog 🐶 a bone.

And I say this; Nick-nack, paddywhack, give the dog a bone, this old man went rolling home".

Grin thank you brother!

It is only after observing my own spiritual sabotaging and challenges that I am able to see this with so much clarity in others. We are very good about keeping are old habits continuing but not so good at creating new ones that benefit us. I am sure that many Masters who have tried to help us have made this observation; you can lead a donkey to water but you cannot make them drink. Which is to say; You can give someone an advantage or provide them with an opportunity, but you can't force them to do something if they don't want.

Furthermore we often outsmart ourselves: Outsmart oneself definition: to have one's efforts at cunning or cleverness result in one's own disadvantage

Don’t worry too much, life is a joke to smoke and after I take a toke I give to you. Or in your case, wine and dine then run....like a shot from a gun.

i read of a woman who has these memories of multiple lives. in each of them is a recurring theme, she's lost a child in each incarnation- has suffered abuse and other things. now she has a child in this life and questions how to let her daughter grow without her fear of losing her child again, she calls her fear irrational even though we can see she has a reason to be concerned. i see that we can incarnate many times, and that god has a way of imposing lessons on us, over and over. coming back to this thread, her experience and concerns validate my own questions, maybe it's time to take the hint. feeling quite blessed.
