i have found a very important ingredient to getting older; We have the chance to get wiser. When we are younger we have not experienced all the snares that are part of the growing stages of life; raging hormones, untried experiences and thrills a  restless desire to experience everything associated with the senses.  For many of us on the spiritual path we are seeking something beyond the illusions of the senses and something more lasting that brings us in touch with deeper dimensions.

hey Jitendra !  Cool

Older and wiser, not always the case

some keep repeating old habits, stuck in a rut

there are some on the spiritual path, that say one thing, then act another way ...
still seeking restless desires,

must be that duality thing ?  Shocked

We are all seeking our desires. The fact that we are in bodies is proof of that. Some of us are just not aware, what those desires are or how that our desires hold us back from realization. Others of us recognize our restless desires and are attempting to do something about it. Often we recognize our desires but they come in conflict with reality and cannot be appeased.  In time.... in time....they will be lived out or we will transform them. i am actually grateful that some of my desires have been fulfilled. i have learned much in the process. That is how growing older brings wisdom. We tend to know which desires will bring suffering and we limit our desires to noble causes.

Better wiser because....There r different dimensions that we go to after this life because of what we have done here. The saints and devotees r awake most of the time and they can even go to places where they can get instruction. The rascals spend most of their time feeling what they have done to others. They think it over and over and dream about it. Imgine being in the Astral realm for 5 hundred years and doing this. So what happens to the 'good people' that r not yogis? Most of time they dream in the Astral or heavenly spheres and occasionally they awaken and enjoy the astral realms.
