An engaging, intelligent splendid explanation of Kriya Yoga and why it is important for spiritual growth. Paramahamsa Prajnananada Giri was instructed by his Guru, Swami Hariharananda to travel to Europe, the USA and other countries in order to propagate Kriya Yoga through public lectures, seminars, retreats and meditation.

In 1999, Prajananandaji became the third monk, following Swami Vivekananda and Shri Ravi Sankar to address the Parliment of World Religions.

A Spiritual Conversation with Swami Prajnanananda Giri.

God has given us three gifts; a head, a heart and two hands. The head is for intelligent thoughts or jnana; the heart is for emotion or love which is bhakti; the hands are for action or karma. If we integrate all three in God-consciousness, life will be complete. Work, think, and be immersed in love. Life is a boat and love is the water. The boat of life can only sail smoothly on the water oflove. Devotion is the supreme means of liberation. Bring love into your life through every thought, word and action, then you will see how life will change for the better.

The Bhakti Sutras [Narada's] say,
sa tarati, sa lokan tarayati
"Extreme love will liberate you, as well as others." Whoever comes into contact with an enlightened person, will likewise be saturated with love.

Saint Kabir said,
Je jake saran lije take rakhi laj
ulti jal me machili chale, baha gaye gajaraj.

"One who takes shelter in God is rescued n every situation."

Paramahamsa Prajnanananda in "The Path of Love".

Prahatsinha i wonder what it is like during the celebration of  Ganesh who removes obstacles and brings justice. His birthday is August 23. i learned of him thru these videos. (Question and answer #1 in 2009) So much spiritual culture we miss in the Western World. Yet we can vicariously participate. It is so wonderful to have you here to tell of such things in India Prabhat.

Paramahamsa Prajnananada Giri has a intense schedule:

hi Steve!
Lord Ganesha  is the deity  of muladhar chakra.
We worship him in start of anything  good.
I visited many places associated  with  Ramkrishna Paramhansa, Ma Sharda  devi, Swami Vivekanand, Sri Yukteshwar  giri, PY, Master mahasaya at the end of year. It was beautiful. I also visited the house of PY .

Vyagh geeta is a part of Mahabharta. I will look for its digital format.
