"in the state of wonderment"

« on: Jul 20, 2011 04:13 pm »

Quote
Dear friend; i wonder if u have noticed that things turn out less and less how u expect them to? Maybe it is because we r learning new lessons and things r never quite the same in our new lessons. So how can we have expectations? Yet sometimes we wonder; Why did we not see more clearer from the beginning? More and more intuition is needed. i suppose this is the intermediary between the ego and the soul to let us know the path towards safety...

Jitendra

key here is not to have expectations !  Cool

life is a mystery, who knows what will happen next ?

if one expects, one is usually disappointed

no expectations, go with the flow

swimming upstream against the current is exhausting " words of Squisdom ! "  Grin

fly like an eagle or better yet, like a flying squirrel !  Grin Cool

It may b easy to confuse expectation with direction. In human endeavors we often need direction to proceed towards goals. Yet if our goals are not met we should not expect everything to turn out like we had planned. At least we set into motion a plan. If the plan did not work then we can consider other goals and plans without being attached to the results.

Into Blue sent me out in a direction and I at least was expecting to see the sky. But instead I dived into a tree full of squirrels. I guess my expectations weren't high enough? Nothing against squirrels it's just nice to fly if you were meant too! Into Blue where are you? Not even the squirrels confuse expectations with direction. I must be lost.  I am tangled in fur and my feathers are all ruffled. I think I hit a nest full of baby squirrels.

Thank You Nomaste2all and reminding me not to confuse the means with the goal. It seems like the journey itself can not b separated from the goal. In this way the spiritual means are an integral part of the goal and r meant to b enjoyed along the way and never to b looked at laboriously.

i am indebted to such divine friends here who have helped me with the intentions that have manifested much wisdom and spiritual adventure along the way. i hope the unfolding adventure continues to b a unified field in which we all find our true nature manifesting. A field refers to an area under the influence of some force, such as gravity or electricity, for example. In this case we form a tapestry of energy and understanding as a divine magnetism that draws us together towards a common goal. The intent has its own manifestation, even though still in its infancy, towards the goal. We are all inching along with the intent to get a glimpse into the the heart and mind of God.
