In silence and stillness, I find peace.

The following is taken from the website for The Center for Nonviolent Communication ~

Nonviolent Communication contains nothing new. It is based on historical principles of nonviolence--
the natural state of compassion when no violence is present in the heart. NVC reminds us what we
already instinctively know about how good it feels to authentically connect to another human being.

With NVC we learn to hear our own deeper needs and those of others. Through its emphasis on deep
listening—to ourselves as well as others—NVC helps us discover the depth of our own compassion.
This language reveals the awareness that all human beings are only trying to honor universal values
and needs, every minute, every day.

NVC can be seen as both a spiritual practice that helps us see our common humanity, using our power
in a way that honors everyone's needs, and a concrete set of skills which help us create life-serving
families and communities.

The form is simple, yet powerfully transformative.

Through the practice of NVC, we can learn to clarify what we are observing, what emotions we are feeling,
what values we want to live by, and what we want to ask of ourselves and others. We will no longer need
to use the language of blame, judgment or domination. We can experience the deep pleasure of contributing
to each others' well being.

NVC creates a path for healing and reconciliation in its many applications, ranging from intimate relationships,
also in work settings, health care, social services, police, prison staff and inmates, to governments, schools
and social change organizations.

It is often difficult to satisfy everyone. I genuinely made an effort my self and have my share of
difficulties. Giving understanding is one of the most important parts of spiritual unfoldement. It is important to come to a recognition that human  beings often have vastly different perceptions and to b able to look past them and see what we have in common. Otherwise friends can b separated forever over trivial disagreements.

Often we have challenges that cannot b reconciled in a public format. If there is not an ability to talk privately about such matters it is better just to recognize the limitations inherent in these relationships. It surprises me immensely to have conversations in person or on the phone that bring people together in an entirely different manner.

I personally have very little interest in communicating or connecting with other egos. People seem to believe that if we could all just get naked and show each other our wieners, we'd be happily ever after. Lol. Don't get me wrong, it's nice when people want to share with you or listen to you or trust you. But it is disgraceful to demand that they do so. As a lady I knew put it, the closer we get to another person we realize that there is no one there. I will direct my efforts toward knowing God, not other egos, and trust that he will place in my life whoever it is he wants me to connect with for his own purposes.

Om Peace

Yet there is something there under the ego, but sadly most egos do not see it.
