Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances.

Yes but if we do not have time to meditate we do not have a clear idea of what matters to us. We can have too many people in our lives and it can make us stressful and our minds are just bouncing; so we must decide who is important in our lives. If we do not make some judgements we can easily get swept up in the dramas around us. We make decisions everyday.

Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances.

Once Paramahansa Yogananda was asked by a disabled man why he was in this situation all his life. The Master replied; 'Because you were a judge in your past life and you judged others incorrectly. However because of your spiritual practice you will not have this condition next life.' So we see that our actions have their consequences regardles of what other people may do as a result of our actions. This type of judging holds considerable risks. Somewhat like an executioner. For instance: because of the science of dna analysis we find that many judgements were wrongly made. There will always be plenty of so called judges without us playing 'judge'. It takes a human being of highly spiritual discrimination to judge the actions of others. At best i am able to just judge what is best for me and i have made mistakes in that department as well! This is what i have 'witnessed'.

In retrospect: Todays view......We often have different views at different times on the same subject and word. Such is the nature of duality and fickleness in human outlooks and in a positive sense: spiritual maturing. There is also time to accept everything and a time to differentiate. To master these opposites is a spiritual attainment.

How do you say so many words to say nothing?
