"When someone else's happiness is your happiness, that is love."

This one makes me wonder. What would really make others happy? You never really know till you are there. Things have slowed down a bit in the last few days here at the forum. It gives a person a moment to pause and reflect on where they find themselves. It seems like i have shuttled back and forth between Michigan and California all my life. Each place has a certain destiny or purpose. Yet whenever i am in one of the states i think about the other. Wonder what it would be like if i had lived in for instance in Minnesota.

So where could i make other people most happy? Do you ever think about that? Some people have kind of chained themselves in to living in a certain areas so it does not seem to be a subject of conversation. Many of us have a certain kind of job or we have set ourselves up to live in one place by having family ties or a home etc.

Just thoughts at this stage but perhaps you or someone could add to them. Sometimes we get so involved with
ideas that we loose the personal aspect of life. Yet i have found that often when i bring up that aspect i get criticized or censored. The message i get from this is that some people do not want a personal friendship or relationship with me. So i just set here mellow out and meditate under the pepper tree or the salt cedar in my meditation arbor. That is O.K. So i need to let them live their own life.  Yet it is difficult to know when you will say something that might offend someone else. So you just throw up your arms and say O.K. i can no longer take the risk of saying something that might not fly with you. Have a nice life.

We can never know how people will react to our personal comments until we have made them. That is the risk. i have taken it and it does not always work out so well. Yet how do you break the ice and get below the surface? So i am making an effort to be more personal myself here to see where it leads and if it brings answers to our life search for answers. Nothing ventured-nothing gained.

Getonit Julian Elfuntitus tell us your cosmic rambling thoughts or someone else out there with a voice to speak..

Hummm....well that is ponderable oh wise one, SurrenderKittyturtletraxxDr.Kookmylittlejitendraiguanasaurus. One's own happiness i assume comes from within their own being. I like to 'join' in with a most happy moment if another is having happiness and that sharing of that happiness IS a sharing of love. Ones aspect of life is what one makes of it. If you feel the need to be a lonesome cowboy on the trail to who knows where that certainly is a choice. I am a lonesome cowboy too at times, like when i am cruising on my motorcycle. But where your own destination leads that is entirely by your own personal choice. I guess as it may have been said 'wherever you lay your hat is your home." I guess having a personal thought to a post and making a comment per a post it may best be replied to in a "in my personal opinion and my thoughts on that are", but sometimes it may be best to just read it and move on if one finds it to be way beyond the dark side of the moon in THEIR opinion. I think 'subtle suggestions' are normal but if it is rigid in content then it defeats it's purpose. Being opened minded to all forms of spirituality is a good thing. As i have stated before nothing is written in stone as far as what we may know or not know for sure. Until we pass only then will we have a better understanding or it could just be like any hard drive that crashes and then there is no 'conscience' information leftover. This is not necessarily the way i see it but everyone should be able to see it the way they prefer to see it by way of personal opinion. To me that is also that sharing of love. If we remain true to ourselves and our own spirit as intended for us then by way of our own free will and our own personal choices that will help determine our true path. One can become a lonesome cowboy or mingle with the 'crowd' but i am certainly 'happy' that i have that choice! Sometimes if we 'break the ice' we can fall through and drown trying to get back to the surface so it may be best to know how 'thick' the ice may be before we wander out on the ice. Wink One can sure do a lot of 'slipping and sliding' around on the ice and sometimes one may fall and crack ones head. This could i assume be somewhat beneficial if one would prefer to forget somethings but i assume we would rather not forget ALL about our past lives and knowledge that we have gained through our own life's experiences. I guess some of the 'classes' we may take have some retaining values and some of the others just don't per our own lives destiny.  Wink Undecided elfun bids adieu "Peace and love to all of you too" and you know who you are ~ i assume?  Wink Cool

Even if happiness forgets you a little bit, never completely forget about it.

Thank You Ceasar Agustus Elfuntitus You leave much to reflect on and it is almost time to play the Jingle Bell Rock and i just won't be around to share Christmas in Michigan. Santa brings me something to smile about though. i don't want a lot for Christmas but it would sure be nice to visit some ol' friends. So just keep me up to date on what's up with you. More later... when i fnd a place to  hang my hat as one such as yourself would say.
In the meantime the 'big horsey' is ready to ride.

Love you too much too tell. Who could only know?

Thought i would mention to you Elfun that many times i respond to your posts they are triggering something in me and i respond. It may have little or nothing to do with what you wrote. i enjoyed our personal rapport. i miss you and hearing from you (you are welcome to call me) so sometimes it is just my way of being with you. It is often difficult to establish personal relationships on the computer and the relationship becomes that of exchanging ideas. i think this is fine but we would like to have a personal relationship with God and in the same way we all have various degrees of personal relationships with others. By combining our aura with someone else we often feel the strength of that partnership what ever it's vibration.
