In silence and stillness, I find peace.

I have become aware of gurus who have set themselves above the law and manipulated others to fulfill their needs, or sexually abused their followers and their follower's children.  The purpose of this post is to inform seekers about Swami Muktananda and Gurumayi of the Siddha Yoga path, and Zen Master Joshu Sasaki.

A man once told a great yogi that all gurus were charlatans and could not be trusted. After engaging the business man in
a conversation the great yogi said to him: All business men are crooks and cannot be trusted. The business man
immediately protested and said: what do you know about business men? At which point the great yogi replied back:
What do you know about gurus?

they are not true Teachers of god.

same with business people....some are good-honest business people and some are not.

ignorance has no boundaries, it does not discriminate.....does it ?? ??

ignorance is everywhere.

I've heard supporters of a criticized teacher say that having sex with devotees or students that is consensual isn't wrong.  I've heard supporters of a sexually deviant teacher say that "the lower can't understand the higher."  But a teacher in authority having sexual relations with a devotee or student who is in his or her trust is wrong.  Dividing a wife or husband from their spouse or a child from its family for sexual purposes is wrong.  Pedophilism, the rape of children, is wrong, whether you're name's Muktananda or Jerry Sandusky, the convicted child rapist and former college football coach.  And a teacher shouldn't be telling students that having sex with him or her is a divine sacrament or a way to a higher state.

i doubt that any of us are trying to justify past deeds and misdeeds of ourselves and others. We are trying to make our lives better today and to focus on ways of doing this. Im so glad that i am not in the business of making laws for moral and social behavior. There are so many scenarios. Take for instance abortion..........

God knows what our actions are. We cannot escape them. I can't be a watchdog for the mistakes made by others. Besides we often find the people that are quick to judge are often the most guilty themselves. When we start looking into ourselves we find we have enough mistakes of our own, If we have hurt other people , in what ever capacity of service or pleasure, we will as human beings eventually find out.

Whatever we have done to others, good or bad or a mixture will eventually come back to us. Such are the  spiritual laws that govern the universe. Not in just this life but many lives. All i can do is concentrate on my own actions and do the best i can to improve myself and leave the rest to God.
