There was a thread called Practicing the Presence which is similar to this subject. Putting God in everything we do is a slightly different approach since we ask for his/her advice and make God a friend to confide in in all our activities.

Something happened to me recently that inspired this thread. I play in a musical group and we have had a difficult time finding a name since every good name seems to have been taken. I sat down in a rather noisy place at the Y and started meditating. Without asking a name popped in my brain. Everyone seems to like it and agree on it. God inspires us to put him in our presence if we meet him half way. I believe we just have to give our time to him.It is at times that he responds in a way that i don't understand that i may need to keep up my faith.
