Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

Eric It interests me;our conversation here. In life we get so used to holding on to people and situations that it becomes very difficult to meditate. Because in meditation we must let go to have results.

hi jitendra
letting go, now that is a mastery i can definitely learn to adopt
you know how it can get for us cancerians at times heh

my friend this is another synchronicity with the book i am currently reading
there are 2 of the 4 agreements listed here
one being, make no assumptions of others
and the second, don't take things personally

when we make assumptions and take things personally we create a spiritual poison.
these two toxins are some of the fatal dosages that careen one towards his or her own personal living hell.
you're right though, we are all unique with a very special brain chemistry and personality that weaves through the blue print of our soul and determines the way we interpret and view the world around us.
OH LIFE HOW BEAUTIFUL TO BE, THE BLESSED INDIVIDUAL YOU ARE
it is beautiful
my heaven and your heaven, is it identical ? what about hell ?
in either case, many times your words have indeed amplified personal situations currently going through my life- there are times in fear i have thought i was being directly targeted- but thanks to our communication we've been able to release these things sooner. then there are times where i feel spirit is working through you and speaking, highlighting things for me.
ultimately, it is as you say here
Quote
If we feel confident and loving about what we have said we just have to be at peace about it and let the other person go on with their own views.

if you live and practice good intentions
if you consider these two agreements i've mentioned earlier
then, you are immune
you are free from promoting further drama and the suffering of others or even your own fears

it's a practice and it is not impossible.

thank you   Smiley

It feels good to have a strong connection with several friends. They build and give strength to life and our resolve for a noble character.

I feel that with several members that frequent this site. I understand the two of four ideas you took from a book Eric. One being; to not have assumptions about others. The other to not take things personally. Not having assumptions seems easier for me since i have been in so many unpredictables in life that it seems anything is possible. However sometimes we have very personal relationships with others and i have found that people do take things very personally.

i am working on this a lot because what was once personal may become more distant; a distant wind. We share such wonderful close relatiionships with others but like anything else there is a time we must let go. Yet when we feel such love for others we have to let them have their own free will.

I understand this yet it is surprising to me how many people in life seem to turn off and on relationships like a faucet. Maybe it is not all  just all taking things personally. Is it that many of us do not have the capacity, at this time, in our spiritual evolution to experience depth in relationships? Perhaps it stems from a boderline personality disorder in which their are those who just can't face the challenges of relationships and seem to be tossed from one relationship or friendship to another without many long lasting and enduring encounters.
