I know most of the members here understand the principle of what you see in others is also in yourself. I have noticed a reoccuring pattern that perhaps many of you notice around you. That is the inability to change and adapt to changing circumstances and people around us. Sometimes we even remain obstinate out of some kind of out grown principle to need to be right. The tragedy of it all is that it only hurts ourselves.

Many people have wonderful opportunities around them; friends, encouraging circumstances and people, fortunate life events and invitations. Yet we just do not take advantage of them and thus grow in the process. I see so many people stuck in the past or in certain ways of doing things and they just do not seem to be able to improve their life and circumstances. Most of us in one way or another are what Paramahansa Yogananda called 'Psychological Antiques.'

How do we get out of our self built prisons? Maybe some of you have some ideas.

Most minds are like concrete . . . all mixed up and permanently set!
