hi
yesterday i had been graced with quick snippets of understanding... this understanding is more so my opinion on things like drinking and smoking... nature and love.
yes i was drinking when i had written these, ironic *roll eyes* and there's no real structure to this. these thoughts came out with such clarity though i thought it important to record the message

here's my current perspective on
alcohol, false nobility lived through a jesters smile
weed, insight given without a will to procure its fulfillment
sound, truth in movement
nature is a mystery to the 21st century man, who knows not of the ingenuity provided by his ancestor
love, a conscious phenomenon and attachment to time

simply watching a movie was enough to stir my emotions and have me placed on the outside of a creative ledge, looking in

for sound i don't know what i mean... i think it should read truth of movement... i felt sound was a quick invocation of creativity and emotion- music from the movie is what helped me reflect on some of my own truths

alcohol is like the dramatic jester with all his ups and downs tugging on the noble heart strings
i used to think of weed as a very sacred herb. when i first smoked weed, i preferred to do it alone. it was described to me as a crutch to meditation. i simply liked being outdoors under the sun, feeling as if i was tapping into a spirit world communing with teachers. later, as it became more of a social drug in my life(which is unfortunate) i'd still receive moments of insight but come the next day i'd have either forgotten my reflections or change my outlook on it completely....

my feelings of nature are that- it is a mystery to most of us... yet it is in nature we learn some of the basic principles on how to live... the 21st century man is the general population with a smartphone attached to their hip, not aware of how technology has evolved so fast or how most of the appliances we use even work... there's more here... but i'd be happy to hear your thoughts, to those reading this post, on nature and technology.....

and love... this one still, i find profound... that love and time are related... and this attachment to time. i'm still unraveling what this might mean, but certainly a deep yearning inside is gently tapping one of my 'truth bells'

Well you have insights on many things here Eric but u specifically singled out nature and asked for insights about it.

I need to have sometime in nature to get in tune with my spirit at a certain level. It inspires me to look within for the insights to act in my personal life. It also gives me time to reflect on and appreciate the influence of other people in my life. i need to keep this body in shape and nature provides the inspiration to exercise.

I often listen to the sounds of nature... the wind... the animals... and birds... all these sounds and the fresh air on my body... it all adds up to a moment of connection with who I am and not what the world has made me.

Technology? I am happy it has brought so many people here from around the globe. How would I have had the chance to know some of u if it were not for technology? We have yet to bring spirituality to the same level of our technological achievements. If this  continues we can expect some of the most dreadfull uses of technology.

has time always been?

if love is an attachment to time then perhaps this may explain reincarnation, if you believe in reincarnation

I believe that God has control, time included. That could mean also that, if allowed, you could step out of time, and view it from afar as it involves our particular universe(s). Other universes may not follow this kind of design. Time for our situation appears to have always been.
