Steve, prayers are Always needed and appreciated, thanks.
Many refugees are actually outward bound, usually to the Northern European countries, where they know there is less of an economic slump or where they have relatives.
I'm not directly affected by the refugees, since there are no gathering points near my place. A possible danger to public health though is that they are carrying diseases and parasites, but they usually receive medical care at the grounding places.
A main issue is that some countries like France are not allowing them to cross the border, so the immigrants are compelled to remain in Italy, this is a recent case, they are camping and sleeping upon the rocky shore at the France-Italy border. Actually, the Italian government offers shelters but many of'em prefer to stay and sleep on the rocks as a protest.
We continue to pray for you and your country mccoy. It is kind of your government to provide shelter and medical care for those refugees you have spoken about. Like many projects the United States has been a part of--the war in Libya is a mixture of good and bad and we do not know what the final outcome will be. Just to look at pictures of Colonel Gaddafi is difficult because there was so much hardness and cruelty in his face. But the havoc it has brought that country and other surrounding countries is a karmic issue (good and bad) that the United States now is responsible for. The outcome war is never what people anticipate.
