Scott and i just returned from a pilgrimage of the past. Scott spend much time in the Ludington area in his early years. This is in the northern part of the lower peninsula in Michigan. We went back there so Scott could balance out the energies started from memories of the past there and i had many hours in meditation and playing music.

Scott took m to the Ludington State Park Light House. He explored his past. He spent many years coming up to this area with family friends and girl friend. There is nothing like returning to your past and exploring just how it has affected your life.

Eric It is always interesting returning to your past. Looking at the scenery, the houses the streets, the sign posts, the parks.... It all brings back so many moods and thoughts, people who entered your life and so many have left. There was so much to learn, so much to experience so much to understand. Going back reminds us of all these things and we can put it all in perspective spiritually speaking. Recently i was able to connect with a friend from the past. We shared so many teen age years together. It is amazing. We actually went back to some of the places we had been and thought to ourselves___ Who would ever think we would be back here again a half century later? It is eerie... this notion of time and being a witness of the change it makes in us.

Many of us may not b able to return to our past... to the time we once new years back. It is quite a gift when we can go back to the places we once lived and perhaps the people we once new to experience those times in light of today's happenings and what we have learned along the way. These occurrences may b from the past here during this life or perhaps from previous lives. It is quite a revelation to meet people from the past and to remember the memories we had. To learn from them and experience them again somewhat like an observer of those events. Often we have changed garments and may look different but there are certain expressions and behavioral quirks that remind us once again of the souls we knew. Areas and sign posts along the way bring back a flood of memories.

Enjoyed the pics, we should post more like those. I doubt there are many places which remained the same as when I was a small boy. Everything changed over here, lots of building developments sometimes even over the beach. Even the sea changed, they built coastal protections which was not there .
