Have you ever asked yourself: What am I here for? What am I supposed to be in this life?

If you have, you have begun to live in a new way. You have begun to tap, even if only slightly, the power of your true self. You are on your way to becoming what you are meant to be. It is a long way, a difficult one. One proceeds along this way very gradually, hesitantly; there are usually many setbacks. But it is the only way really worthwhile, really "exciting." It alone gives significance to life — your life. ~ Dane Rudhayar

I have asked God this question a few times. I'm assured I have a place or role, and the details are not something I need to be concerned about, since it might be like knowing too much about your past, knowing too much about what's in store for you might change your thinking,

There's probably a fine line where if anything is revealed to you it might then compel you to believe vs trust & faith on its own.

What Rudyhar is emphasizing here is not the differences we have with others but rather what makes us distinct in our life purpose and expression. Jeff...quite often u say 'that is not what I meant.' But do we also understand what others mean?

It may not b a question of the past or what is store for us. It may be; "Where do I go from HERE."

I see, still, the meanings we are allowed to perceive maybe were meant for us personally as something we needed to understand at that moment.

But it is helpful to see other meanings that for some reason we don't catch ourselves.
