I think that nighttime freak-out feeling is pretty common!  We've all experienced it, probably. My theory is that in bed, in the dark, there is nothing to distract us from the worry or anxiety so it hits full force and seems bigger than it really is.   Smiley

It is most probably so, even in an indirect way. The indirect influence comes from dreams, restless dreams. It is a fact that some people like myself, as opposed to people like SI who don't wake up during the night, do wake up several times. During such inter-dreaming wakeups, we are infuenced by the dreams we were having seconds before. These dreams often reflect all the concerns experienced during daytime.
