Just wonder if any others out there are committed in some way to our earth and its' improvement. i myself recycle daily. i always aspire to have my own garden and often pick up junk others have left behind (never leave trash and junk around), try to car pool, besides endorsing earth candidates and regularly attending events with spiritual leaders who make it one of the focuses of their speeches i.e. Amma.

i also have learned much more about trees and plants and herbs over the years. i have my own sprout garden and have found out the danger of cutting into trees and leaving them susceptible to  disease and death in the spring. i have an increasing awareness of glacial melt and what it repercussions represent. It has also become evident of the damage that nuclear power plants can do to our environment as evidenced by Fukishima and Chernobyl. We need to have alternate- such as solar power- power sources or at least keep the ones we have in relatively safe places. We need to support candidates that want to do this. It has been also increasingly evident to me that we need to help others understand the need to keep birth rate down because of the damage people are doing to our mother earth.

I/we try to. Our garden is not much, but does provide. I try to limit junk as well, car pool not so much, but I do try and leave a small footprint.
