i have realized more and more over the years that meditation requires a change of attitude and mindset. We r so used to rushing around--restless sensory activity--that in many ways we r not even prepared to begin meditation. Meditation requires relaxation. But r we able to even relax? Some of these thoughts have occurred to me lately as i have been able to give more time to my practice of meditation. It also occurred to me that meditation can also b quite spontaneous after practicing it for years. We sometimes have to give up some of our routine in life whether it b towards r family, our hobbies service etc, even spiritual routine to b receptive to the spontaneous inner urges that are a part of meditation. It is somewhat akin to being open to the call of spirit.

An interesting look at how people sabotage their own meditation attempts. One of the ones i found best was;
'I am so busy helping others,  how can I find time to meditate?' Answer; How can you truly help others unless you first help yourself? Many people say they are too busy. But you can meditate even one minute. Besides the more busy you are the more you need some peace to make the right decisions while being busy.

Very true.
This life is in constant flux and when I fall I hope to make it less severe and when I rise I hope to make the elevation the norm.
Thank you
