Trump campaigned for the presidency as an outsider who was not beholden to Rich donors and would "drain the swamp in Washington" of special-interest influence but some of his wealthy supporters are playing key roles as he works to build his administration, make policy decisions and assemble the millions of dollars in private money needed to fund his January 20th swearing in.

"It used to be that Financial supporters would buy themselves an ambassadorship," Said Fred Wertheimer, president of Democracy 21 a Washington watchdog group. Now they have graduated to buying themselves cabinet secretary positions. Donald Trump has already proved to be the biggest liar of all presidents in modern history and he is not even in office yet.

Steve, imagine if his pants will really suddenly take fire during the swearing.

Mccoy now we see his son in law essentially says Trumpster doesn't really have to mean what he says. So let us trust nothing that comes out of Trumpsters mouth. He can lie and does try to ruin anybody's  reputation he chooses. This man can never be trusted. His word is as good as dirt. He has has a reputation for lying and many examples can be given. He does not warrant the respect of a president.

Trumpsters son in law says he didn't really mean what he said about Obama's citizenship. Which means he does not mean what he says nor says what he means. He says what is convenient not what is the truth. He can never put false accusations to rest since he himself makes them! You can never trust a man who lies and never apologizes for it but only rationalizes.

Hi Steve, do you hate Donald Trump? I ask because your words come off as quite passionate, I could be misinterpreting however. The false accusation I speak of(if your last comment was a reply to my previous thread) is related to Donald Trumps golden shower fetish. Some major networks are losing credibility in hopes to further defame the man. It was a rather interesting conference don't you think?

I'm all too familiar with the hypocrisy political figures engage in, some are simply more charismatic. We've witnessed well articulated speech's and calming gesture's foster trust despite ulterior motifs. Calling out Donald Trump alone is not looking at the larger picture. Corruption from within continues to surface as we enter 2017. As if the stage is being set for the next chapter in our social development. I don't know what this means, just speculating.

Seeing this corruption with spiritual eyes is to recognize that both corporate and political factions have easily deceived the masses for personal gain. Although I think it's fair to question the integrity of any President or the system he represents, I think the hate one would pin on a single man or woman operating within the already broken system is misguided. I also think there are some issues we can not simply know- we are not of authority...

I could be proven wrong but I don't think Trump is all talk. I also understand that's what scares some people and I don't believe you think he is all talk either. For now, we continue to sit on the sidelines and I'm thus far glad to be living in this time and continue to monitor collective interest in calm.

Quite frankly the man lies so much I do not think he is worth listening too and do not trust ANYTHING he says.
He has been caught in so many lies that he does not deserve being taken seriously. Do I hate him? No. But we have a compulsive liar in the top position and office of our country. Anyone with any sense of truth would be obhored to hear such a man accusing others of lying when he himself takes the cake for being a compulsive liar and trying to destroy the reputation of anyone who stands in his way. He is just a bully and hardly material for the presidency. If he had a simple job that did not have so much effects on our life he would bear little or no notice. However we have a sociopath for a president.

I don't hold him in the same regard as you Steve and I believe some of the claims you have against him aren't all true- many forged by a conflicting power. I do not call him a Saint nor Obama but I have a sense of respect and an open ear for both(even when I did not agree with Obama on issues). I'm sure there will be things I don't agree with presented by Trump down the road. That doesn't mean I will close my eyes or automatically think of his future announcements as unimportant.

It is not that his announcements aren't important. It is that they are unbelievable. He is a liar and sociopath and he makes it his business to ruin the reputation of others who disagree with him. He is a clanish aristocrat who does not understand the needs of the common person and he will continue to divide the economic classes with his support of the wealthiest people in the country. He chose people in his administration because of their economic wealth and called it success. He has no idea what success is nor does he have a clue about spiritualty. The man should be removed from office as soon as possible. He represents a terrific danger to civilization and very well could be the cause of ecological disaster to our world. He has literally no vision for our future.

So becoming president of the United States is not a success?? ....

Steve, I don't believe you know the man or those of his administration at all. I'm aware of some* of your concerns and think they are sensible but you assume too much. (My opinion).

Of course you are entitled to your opinion, one I do not agree with.

I no longer care to suade you or entertain your assertion that Trump means impending doom.

I will give the president a chance, it's why I voted for him.

Becoming president is a curse to someone not fit for the job. Since you think I know nothing about his team let us start with Mr. Oil Man himself. A man who wanted to abolish the energy department will now be in charge of it. Expect no help from him to have safe energy. Here is one of his administrators from your state Eric and he is known to deride climate change. This man will be nothing less then a disaster to conservation and environmentalism. "Assume to much"Huh? Let us see what Trumps appointee assumes about the climate change. His views are hauntingly like Mr.  Machiavelli himself: Donald Trumpster.

"As governor, Perry championed the oil industry, questioning science that shows that greenhouse gas emissions contribute to climate change and deriding what he called "the secular carbon cult."

"Perry is also likely to be questioned during confirmation hearings about the Dakota Access Pipeline. He serves on the board of directors of Energy Transfer Partners, the company building the controversial project near the Standing Rock Sioux reservation."

Don't put economy in jeopardy based on unsettled science

Q: You said scientists are coming forward to question the idea that human activity is behind climate change.
PERRY: The science is not settled on this. The idea that we would put Americans' economy in jeopardy based on scientific theory that's not settled yet, to me, is just nonsense. I mean, Galileo got outvoted for a spell. But asking us to cut back in areas that would have monstrous economic impact on this country is not good economics and I will suggest to you is not necessarily good science. Find out what the science truly is before you start putting the American economy in jeopardy.
Q: Are there specific theories that you've found especially compelling?
PERRY: Let me tell you what I find compelling, is what we've done in the state of Texas. Not by some scientist somewhere saying, "Here is what we think is happening out there." The science is not settled on whether or not the climate change is being impacted by man to the point where we're going to put America's economics in jeopardy.
Source: 2011 GOP debate in Simi Valley CA at the Reagan Library , Sep 7, 2011
FactCheck: Yes, climate change is settled science

Perry said on global warming, "The science is not settled on this. The idea that we would put Americans' economy at jeopardy based on scientific theory that's not settled yet, to me, is just, is nonsense. Find out what the science truly is before you start putting the American economy in jeopardy."
THE FACTS: The scientific consensus on climate change is about as settled as any major scientific issue can be. Perry's opinion runs counter to the view of an overwhelming majority of scientists that pollution released from the burning of fossil fuels is heating up the planet. The National Academy of Sciences, in an investigation requested by Congress, concluded last year: "Climate change is occurring, is very likely caused primarily by human activities, and poses significant risks to humans and the environment."
Source: AP FactCheck on 2011 GOP debate in Simi Valley CA , Sep 7, 2011

"Perry said that as president he would severely curtail the Environmental Protection Agency’s role in setting emissions standards for businesses, arguing that the rules often hurt the economy, a claim Democrats dispute. He said he would oppose tax credits and benefits that favor specific kinds of energy, a rebuke of the administration push to incentivize wind power and other alternative energy sources."

“The Perry energy plan is the Bush-Cheney big-oil plan gone wild,” said Daniel Weiss of the liberal-leaning Center for American Progress, a think tank in Washington. “It would allow oil companies to drill in some of our most precious places protected for our children, while creating few jobs but yielding significant smog, acid rain, mercury and other pollution.”

Is this the meaning of success? Will this be where Vice President Pence leads us like Cheney did? .... A war that was fought for so-called weapons of mass destruction. A war we are still fighting today? A war caused by the Bush administration to protect wealthy interests in the mideast.
This is Pences' role model!!!! What does this mean for the U.S.? More invasions of countries that we will be fighting in for decades to come? More support of wealthy business interests in other parts of the world?  This is not spelled success. This is spelled D-o-o-m.

Pence holds Cheney as a role model...The man responsible for instigating the invasion of Iraq.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-vp-pence-says-views-cheney-role-model-180345786.html

So becoming president of the United States is not a success?? ....

I no longer care to suade you or entertain your assertion that Trump means impending doom.

'Cheney, vice president to Republican George W. Bush, was known for wielding strong influence in the administration, particularly in Bush's first term. Cheney was a forceful advocate of the decision to invade Iraq...'

The Trump administration is filled with people trying to ruin the earth and that hold people in esteem for starting futile and unnecessary wars that created more division of the economic class system here in the U.S., filled the coffers of the industrial military complex (which Cheney was a key owner of) and gave us many more years of debt and helping war veterans who fought for a war created by and for the rich of this country. How many more success stories do we need involving key figures in the Trumpster administration? This is not success but rather it is a story of how an empire falls. There were people in the south who recognized the the destructive path Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee were taking their fellow citizens down in the Civil War and there are citizens of this country who recognize the infamous characters now in power who are doing the same thing. We do not need to assume anything to know that the south was for slavery in the civil war and we do not have to assume anything to know what administration figures are in the Trump administration and to know their views, actions and role models.

Two peas in a pod.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday said Kim Jong Un wants a historic, high-stakes meeting as soon as possible and suggested the North Korean dictator has been "very open" and "very honorable," a sharply different assessment of a leader he once denounced as "Little Rocket Man."

Later Tuesday, Trump sidestepped a question as to why he would use the word "honorable" to describe Kim, who has been accused of starving his own people, executing his political opponents and ordering the killing of a member of his own family.

Hi Bro!
Hope all is well. To reiterate my first reply in this thread, there's just so much we don't know. We do know, at least at this point, that politicians say what they must like it's a game. We have people within trying to take each other down. Whose game is a really good question. The powers that be seem more corporate than ever. There's an influence from both. False flags, fake news and censorship is becoming increasingly apparent- division is a steady drum. We are living in Cloneland USA right?  Wink Yikes, it can be overwhelming if you let it. If there's a chance to make peace then that's great, right?
Well, I'll leave you to fill me in- my Grandfather served in the Korean war, wasn't that just an extension of the cold war? Unfortunately he had a stroke and can't speak about it.

Cheers.
