I have wondered  about this for sometime. Why do people remain obstinate? We  often try to avoid such people. They are not fun to be around because once they decide on a view they take, it is very difficult.....if not impossible, to find any compromise or flexibility in their attitudes. As we experience meditation more and more we recognize an infinite amount of possibilities and we become humbled by this awareness. Absolute and arbitrary mindsets become more and more passee. We see these attitudes as part of the minds control over us.

I think eventually something will cause that persons way of thinking to crumble. Usually the more you build it up the bigger the, "disaster."
