Donald Trump will end up being the greatest contributer to the distruction of our earth in U.S. history. He is nothing less then the destroyer of civilization.

Q: What steps will you take to protect biological diversity?
TRUMP: The federal executive branch has continued to expand its reach and impact. Today, we have agencies filled with unelected officials who have been writing rules and regulations that cater to special interests and that undermine the foundational notion of our government that should be responsive to the people. When these circumstances occur, there is an imbalance that rewards special interests and punishes the people who should benefit the most from the protection of species and habitat. In a Trump administration, there will be shared governance of our public lands and we will empower state and local governments to protect our wildlife and fisheries. Laws that tilt the scales toward special interests must be modified to balance the needs of society with the preservation of our valuable living resources. My administration will strike that balance by bringing all stakeholders to the table to determine the best approach.

Here we can agree there's room for concern yet without knowing where we are headed your over the top and delusional way of thinking does not help the problem. Pointing the finger and attacking the man when so far we're only on day TWO is a bit overboard. Objectivity is a necessity in times like these... So you don't agree with Trump. OKAY? What next Cowboy? More rioting on the streets??

Richard Black, the director of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit, a non-profit thinktank, added: “There’s no way to present a Trump presidency as constructive for progress on climate change. But I think there’s a tendency to overestimate the effect of the administration,” he said. “The notion that a Trump presidency will transform the energy landscape of the US is probably a bit fanciful.”

First Eric you made a personal attacts on me...Your friend. If I was to respond in like manner there would be no end to the downward spiral of our friendship so I edited your post in hopes you would come to your senses and dismiss anger.

Secondly. Trump does not deserve a chance. He has already proven his inability to lead a nation with his lies, defamation of character, Treatment of women he does not like or wanted to bed, his insults to other people and the list goes on. His position on the environment was announced before he became president and is even worst since he got in. He has hired people that are against environmental protection. He does not deserve to be president and does not deserve respect at all. You will see me continuously exposing his insults. His lies. His fake news, His defamation of character. His gender slurs. His destruction of the environment. His law suits. His hidden tax agendas. His giving finanvial breaks to his rich friends and himself. His tax cuts for the rich. His taking away social programs for the poor. His destruction of civilization thru not recognizing climatic change. His treatment of his employees and workers under him. And more... Until he is impeached or another president takes his place. It is my moral duty to my country and the world.

Steve, I think I've made my point and then some. I don't have the time or the energy to constantly attack a president you respect with hateful slander or to defend the one I respect and would like to give a chance. I will let his actions dictate how I feel about him, not you or the biased media's interpretation of him. It's not that I'm ignoring the issues but that I believe the points you've made aren't all valid, over the top or petty. Rather then divulge any further and drown in these hateful post I need to step away- I can not feed myself this junk and be caused to react in a violent manner any further. I will shift my focus and when you're ready to discuss something of value I'll be here if still permitted. I do consider you a friend and will pray for us.

Peace.

Eric. We have always had many topics to speak about Eric and this is only one. You have edited many of the posts I have responded to so it is very difficult to put in perspective my differing outlooks and responses to you. We are left with this particular response to assess our correspondence on the Trump presidency. I feel a moral obligation to continue my views on this extremely dangerous man who will destroy our mother earth and further cause economic class divisions, among other very dangerous decisions he has already put in place that I listed and you edited out in a thread you created. I also respect our friendship and we have plenty other subjects we can comment on and share our friendship!

You have also somewhat contradicted yourself by releasing a thread on the dafamation of President Obama and his U.S. valid citizenship by Trump and others...also another post on anti Trump protestors lighting a Trump supporters hair on fire the same day you released the post above. God only knows how many posts I could release about the violence of Trump supporters. I could counter this with more information about the violence of Trump supporters and the defamation of character Trump used on an American citizen- our President Obama but will refrain to see if you genuinely intend to make an attempt to disengage from such topics...Which presently does not seem to be the case.

Steve Hydonus

and this isn't even the worst of it.

Yes. He will also eliminate the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.  The Office of Fossil Energy. The U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and The Environment and Natural Resources Division of the Justice Department.

Dear Steve,
I would love to speak to you over the phone where we may be better able to communicate, but I don't suppose I'll get that opportunity any time soon. I apologize to others for airing out the dirty laundry here. I also would like to apologize once more. Yes I was agitated. Yes I responded in a manner where at the time I thought was making a valid point. Admittedly, in the same thread, I said what we we're doing does not reflect some of the spiritual teachings I hope we would want to practice.
... We aren't acting very Spiritual in this manner and you have yet to ask the questions that matter- or ask questions at all. Peace.

Dear Steve,
I have not touched your post and would never intentionally do so. I am attempting to reply very carefully so you do not confuse my "tweeking" of words or spelling errors as intent to remove information that would serve to give better purpose to your argument(s). The only editing I've done, aside from nitpicking my own words, was going back to remove subject lines that pointed a finger at you and made fanatical claims without any further clarification. If you haven't already checked your voice message, you will find me saying something similar. The point I was trying to make was that it's easy to spite others and not take it any further then that. As I've stated I thought the argument's you had made up to that point were petty, bias and in even untrue in some cases.

You have edited many of the posts I have responded to so it is very difficult to put in perspective my differing outlooks and responses to you. ... I feel a moral obligation to continue my views on this extremely dangerous man who will destroy our mother earth and further cause economic class divisions, among other very dangerous decisions he has already put in place that I listed and you edited out in a thread you created. ...

You have also somewhat contradicted yourself by releasing a thread on the dafamation of President Obama and his U.S. valid citizenship by Trump and others...also another post on anti Trump protestors lighting a Trump supporters hair on fire the same day you released the post above.

I challenge that we ask question's or engage in a way that may give a little more purpose to the very title of this section in your forum, "News; Seeing the earth with spiritual eyes." My hope is we discuss the motif's, gain insight as to where this hatred comes from, how to combat against it or even safeguard ourselves from being swept into these worldly affairs. I argue that this "hate" wasn't born the moment Trump became President as I think it goes much deeper, but prior to my 'reaction' all I've gotten from you were constant attacks made against one man. I even tried to engage initially in a way that would shift the focus but your replies were only doubling down on attacking Trump alone. It was at this point I became tired and responded in an unsavory manner. Click on the link below to be directed to the initial thread, "Fake News; The Trump Lies"
http://musicmeditate.smfforfree.com/index.php/topic,4581.0.html

Your response to my first reply from our debate found in the link above was,
Quote
No wonder people think Trump is a rascist he lived through out his term by defaming one of the greatest black men of our time; Obama and he further tried to defame Lewis
and all I could think before you went back to edit and provide further clarification was that you must be referring to the birther conspiracy. So I responded in a way that would argue Trumps birther claims aren't racist but have a different motif. Yet I digress, as I've said- I'm tired of defending the man on your forum. I even said I was tired of making any irrational claims towards a President you respect.

Although you consider my defense a little contradictory I have made attempts to shift gears as promised. Directly under the video you've quoted of me where anti-Trump supporters set a girl's hair on fire is an excerpt taken from a recent discussion with a new friend of mine as well as a quote from Dr. MLK. The aim was to give purpose to the challenge I've posed which is to not simply leave a video alone or make claims without any further elaboration but to make an earnest attempt at witnessing these event's and statement's with objectivity and look for a spiritual alternative.

...

Consider for example these inspirational words:
Darkness cannot drive out darkness;
only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate;
only love can do that.
Hate multiplies hate,
violence multiplies violence,
and toughness multiplies toughness
in a descending spiral of destruction....

Strength to Love, Rev Martin Luther King

So, how do we gather up the strength and courage and dedication to respond to such nonsense with loving-kindness? One approach is to realize that any other response is destined to only bring about greater harm to everyone involved... including ourselves and the people who we wanted to help.

Dear Steve,
Not only do I consider you a friend but a Brother. The Portal has become more of a Home for me over the years I've come here. I've enjoyed having the freedom in changing my name, expressing my view's, sharing stories and most importantly coming here for nourishment on a deeper level. I'm sorry for reacting and targeting you in hopes to justify my point. I felt you were doing the same thing for reasons already mentioned, it was literally starting to drain me. Whatever happened to the mission statement you posted so long ago?

Mission Statement.

******************************

Welcome to Spiritual Portal, a spiritual forum for music and art that emphasizes the spiritual life and meditation. This is a place where people from all spiritual paths can connect, to meditate, enjoy spiritual music, learn about the teachings of P. Yogananda, Amma and other spiritual leaders, and a place to share their own spiritual and psychic experiences, as they travel together on the journey towards enlightenment.
...

I feel like I was starting to lose sight of that, don't you? Not only must we take responsibility for our reactions but also our actions, I would think that is especially true among friends. We share a space here and if this was a physical place where we could hang out but you kept poking me and said something like, "I can't be blamed for how you feel" after I got upset then you aren't taking responsibility for your actions. I would let you know if you were starting to annoy me. Although you were making different claims it was in the manner you expressed by not giving my initial reply any thought and instead doubling down on your attacks. Remember, I am speaking of those claims I thought of as petty which were made before my upset and not what you or anyone has shared since then.

...  If we were to continue such conversations we must recognize the consequences of being on a spiral going downwards in our friendship.

I am unable to control your agitation about me Eric. We must take responsibility for our own reactions to other people.

Well I think I may have went a little over the top but I felt I had the right to clarify my action's and wanted to apologize one last time. I will continue to come here for nourishment of the soul and share the teachings of Sufism. I hope to get back to other topic's sooner ones that would help us live in accordance to our higher purpose, discovering our truest selves. I hope to laugh, analyze and grow together. I will gladly entertain any upcoming new's shared here(like the mention's of the Dakota pipeline)but hope we can somewhat address my challenge posed now and actually discuss with one another. Steve I love ya and hope now you see where I'm coming from.

Peace!  Smiley

There are many points to reply to your last entry Eric. Let me start with this;

I found it interesting that you said here that the more you try to make a point the more I double down on it. I want to tell u what I see happening here by analogy to a different time in history which has some haunting parallels. Although the race issue is not one of the key topics today-only to the small percentage of people who can not see the forest for the trees. When compared with the issues I am about to describe. It is only a distraction and diversion leading away from what more importantly is the survival of our species. This is the purpose of this thread.

I have told you for years about my connection with the Civil War. Interestingly enough you at one point said we were like brothers who argue at times. The very same phenomena happened during the Civil War with some incidents of brothers fighting on contrary sides.

In the film 'Gettysburg'  Robert E. Lee was played by Martin Sheen. We have an example of a chrismatic man loved by many people and soldiers that would have kept fighting for him if he had wanted. Yet Robert E. Lee was wrong. He was not hated in fact he was loved by his countrymen. A man like General Sherman could more accurately be called hated. Yet Sherman was fighting for Lincoln.

Now, several times you have brought up the 'hate' I have for Trump. I do not hate him but rather I am 'doubling down' on what he is doing as I felt the same about Lee and Jefferson Davis. Then we were talking about the freedom of the black man from slavery and now we are talking about freedom from the slavery of climatic doom and economic class war that forces others into working class serfs. So you see are views are so different, as they were in the Civil War, that there is no reconciliation. This is because Trump himself is now 'doubling down' on opposition. Lincoln had no choice but to fight the south and we have no choice but the same...To fight ignorance perpetuated in a perhaps likeable man that is nevertheless taking our civilization in a course towards disaster as the leaders in the south did in the Civil War. By the way it is not just Trump but also the men that share his views and are in his key positions. You expect me to give Trump a chance when it is evident what his views are and always have been and he has no mercy or consideration for the views of others as Obama did who tried to work with the Republicans. Now the tides of change have come to wash away all his efforts. As a key point in fact Trump has actually put people in power who are against the agencies they represent. These are key angencies that represent the survival of our species.

There are crucial times in history that people have come to help fight for righteousness. We have that calling. We are witness to some of the most important decisions for mankind's survival and we have clearly put a man in office who is against our very human habitat. These issues are much larger then the petty differences that brothers like you and I share. These issues will determine the future of the human race and mother earth.

Latest utter ignorance of Donald Trump: withdrawal from the Paris Pact for the ecological survival of our planet.
Donald Trump can be considered nothing except an evil man to our planet and our survival as a species.

Steve I disagree

Q: What steps will you take to protect biological diversity?
TRUMP: The federal executive branch has continued to expand its reach and impact. And much of this statement can be reflected in his speech. Have you watched the full speech?

The worlds outrage at Trumps leaving the Paris Accords including Putin reaffirming the United States can be legitimately considered an imperialistic nation because of its decision.

How can anyone be proud of America today? We have a malevolent leader.

"This is the height of egoism and moral vacuum seeking only their own well-being even at the cost of the entire planet and, at the same time, a short-sighted and silly decision ignorant of the fact that the protection of the global environment is in their own interests,” a foreign ministry spokesman told the state-run KCNA news agency.

President Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement has even North Korea fuming.
Guess what? They are right!

Q: What steps will you take to protect biological diversity?

This has not been done. As a matter of fact money to protect the environment of for instance the great lakes has been gutted by this fake leader and his associates. This is not not just tan issue u can trow off on one state.
This a multi-state issue an also involves Canada. But the Trump team are responsible for stopping the flow of money and resources to continue to do something about it and at same time giving he and his Business interests huge tax breaks and the ability to pollute the air and water more then ever before.

We now have unelected individuals appointed to office who are selling off important federal land  to special Interests and working giving rights to pollute the air to  special interest groups and working against every aspect of environmental protection. Your assessment above was completely  untrue and a brazen false claim about what Trump and his team would do. They have done just the opposite. We would have been better to have Kim Jung Un in charge of our environment then our fake administration now in power. An administration only answerable to their own needs with utter disregard for the public and environment.
