Today while driving I've been listening to an
astronmy podcast by Debra FischerVery interesting, in 1992 most astronomists believed exoplanets, planets belonging to other solar systems, were very rare, whereas now we know that almost every star has its planets.
Dr. Fischer explains how her conservative estimate of the existiting planets in our galaxy is in the order of millions and ho we may even be receiveng signals from another civilization, but missing them because of very limited sensitivity of our technology. Most of the exoplantes are rocky planets, sure more favourable to life than the gas giants.
Space exploration project to exoplanets include sending nanobots which will be accelerated to a littel below light velocity and will send back data and images.
