Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

« on: Dec 28, 2016 05:28 am »

Last summer I did some camping with a friend. I spent most of the nites meditating and gathering firewood for the fire. I went with another friend across the country who could not relate to my setting for long periods. Another couple of friends just told me it was time to go when we visited some places and I sat in complete silence.

What we eventually find out is that others are a mixture of restless, astounded and irritated by our meditation activities if they do not understand them or do not choose to participate. We eventually find friends that are sympathetic to our practices, find ourselves going alone, or some variations of the above.

To some degree you have to recognize that you do not fit in with the crowd and you are way ahead of most people who have little interest in meditation. If you not you will be eaten and spit out by the world and will waste precious time on earth for realization. This is what cosmic delusion would like to see happen since creation can go on in blissful ignorance.
