Into Blue Thanks for the compliment. i do not know if i, as yet, express humility but i think it is an important part of spiritual life. There are three things that have 'forced' some degree of humbleness upon me:

1. i am fortunate to be and have been in the presence of living saints in my life time. After encounters like this you begin to realize just how much further you have yet to go on the spiritual path. This quickly gives you some sense of humility.

2. i have been told to have humility you must learn to serve others. i am actually gaining a much better perspective on this over the years. At one time work was like a chore. i am starting to get the concept that i am working for God (in others) and in that process ultimately for my higher consciousness as well.

3. Lastly but perhaps most importantly: i have felt the presense of God's love. Once you feel those waves of love coming over your heart; the little you that you thought you were becomes overwhelmed with the presence of something much higher that has nothing to do with what you thought you were. Ultimately, each of us is love; the expression of God's love.  It is only be grace that you have an experience like this and only by grace that you will have it again. So here i am wanting to have that love again. That is a humbling event: Knowing that it is only by grace that you will feel that love again.
