We all knew Donald Trump's Big Energy donors were behind his illegal push to downsize Bears Ears by a jaw-dropping 85%. Now the Washington Post has proof.

The Post just uncovered a May 2017 letter from Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. urging the Trump administration to massively shrink Bears Ears to the smallest size possible, easing access to the region's uranium ore.

Last week Ryan Zinke said, "This is not about energy." Another Trump Swamp lie, according to EFR COO Mark Chalmers, who wrote in the letter of "many other known uranium and vanadium deposits located within the [original boundaries] that could provide valuable energy and mineral resources in the future." And lo and behold, Trump's new Bears Ears boundaries put the uranium deposits within reach
