Dealing with frustration, for me, is one of the most difficult conditions of spiritual life and practice. It is a time we seek spiritual experience and realization but are met with. dry spells with seemingly little or no progress. At these times we seek solutions that do not fit under current practice.

For me personally it is a time to go back to reading the S.R.F. material especially the Self Realization Fellowship Lessons to get in tune with the Masters. Often we may find that we need to reinvigorate our spiritual practice with new approaches or renewed attempts where we may have 'slacked off'.

The material or physical dimension we live in can often be quite frustrating with its slowness as a result of the passing of time that we are constantly presented with here in the phtsical realm we live in.

its crazy, some days feel so slow and it becomes difficult to maintain discipline. we get restless and we wallow in our own misery... other days time feels too fast and we're being pulled away from our own practices because of the business presented to us in the moment... what a trip, one minute is one minute yet so much happens to us through out the day our mind is constantly battling with itself between reason, comfort, desires and somehow we make everything about us in most moments. its easy to get sick of myself thinking about it lol

still, i agree with your thoughts. for me its finding creative solutions to old patterns. ill never quit fighting or trying to better myself or living closer to the path i truly seek. it takes will power, effort. even something is better than nothing. in the long run, i can say it does pay off.
