After reading up on "Character Building" by Hazarat Inayat Khan and coming to realization of my faults I am currently engaged in a new practice, alongside meditation...

Often we cut others off in their sentences which is the sign of a nervous and sensitive person. It is good to consider anothers sensitivity in that you do not wish to harm the living God in one, despite obvious limitations... So rather than trying to talk over another it is a good practice to keep your mouth shut and ears open(Is it ironic or just weak that I am posting this illumination?)... Focus on the breath and then focus on the conversation- let them finish talking and give yourself a second to respond. Others may think of you as slow but it has really provided a sense of strength and peace...
Lastly... Let those you encounter on a daily basis get the last word. Why take their words so seriously? Why be so critical? Let them speak... Today I had two women roll their eyes at me just because I asked them to repeat themselves, I swear I was hearing two different things... I did not feel the need to clarify... Instead, it was nice to bite my tongue and move on to the next interaction with a separate human being...
I finished up with them in a polite and respectable sense and didn't spend my usual time ruminating on their behavior...
Well, just throwing out what I think is actually a great and practical practice for those who wish to carry realization in their every day activity. I am just getting started but will keep trying....

Thanks for your time and any consideration to the matter...

Peace!
