i made some wonderful connections at work
a really cool group of people and i am very happy to have found a spiritually minded friend who aligns himself with eastern philosophy. he was kind enough to share a type of, prepatory meditation. i think we discussed this in a separate thread...
it's called the golden lotus meditation
you breath in for 5-10 seconds and mentally say
"i open the petals of my heart and let love and light fall through"
hold
exchale for 5-10 seconds and mentally say
"death, disease, decay exhaled."
repeat
it's not meant to last but it gets you focused on the idea of opening yourself up, letting go- focusing on the breath which eventually takes over the mental chatter...
i am super grateful for this technique and to be once again redirected to meditation.
Steve you as well as others have been a real support system and now i wonder how i manage to go a day without meditation, even if it's a small one...
