i've tried seeing if there was anything out there and it seems they're all in similar categories of feminine energy, communal, social and independent traits. since the hornet and wasp are considered in the same family it wasn't as easy finding the hornet in specific but this is what i gathered,
Hornet
Hornets are the symbol of fertility and sexuality. Its honeycomb, a hexagon, is the symbol of the heart and represents the sweetness of life found within our own heart. It is also the symbol of the sun and all its energies.
As an emblem of abundance, persistence, industry, communication, teamwork and fruitfulness, call on Hornet when you need these energies in your life, or when you wish to send a message to the Divine (particularly needs focused on work and community).
Hornet Spirit is very helpful when you’re working with solar magic, particularly sun Goddesses. She also supports success when it feels like you’ve reached a standstill in a project or goal.
If you need support for fertility issues, let Hornet energy in. It’s amazing what anxieties can dissipate when the warmth of Hornet’s sunny spirit shines on your heart! A Hornet’s honeycomb represents the Heart Chakra and life’s sweetness. This creature is sacred to Kama, the God of Love in Hinduism and epitomizes the Eleusinian Mysteries of Greece, honoring Demeter and Persephone.
