I like a lot of these. A few good ones that stand out,
"Stop defining yourself."
"Conquer your fears, for each one of them represents a camouflaged desire."

There is good advice on transformation. I also like these two on relationships:
"Treat everyone as if he or she was a close relative."
"Do not try to be everything to your spouse; accept that there are things that you cannot give him or her but which others can."

I think the same can concept be applied to our friendships- in reality, to accept that we can't give someone everything they need nor could we possibly know what someone else needs to begin with. We may think we know, but that has the potential for erroneous thought and might be more revealing of our desires and insecurities of our ego. Everyone has something unique to offer, it's best to accept this and encourage when possible not govern or dictate another.

I am trying to better understand this,
"Conquer your aversions and come closer to those who inspire rejection in you."
Any idea what this means?
