Practice Guidance:

Quietening the mind and subtle energization can be effected by focusing the attention in three points on the front surface of the body: the mid-point in between the eyebrows (knot of time), the heart area point in the centre of the chest (knot of space), and in front of the bladder, five fingers below the belly button point (knot of energy). During your concentration on each point, you are welcome to synchronize the beating sound with your own heartbeat. Think of this sound as the amplified sound of your own heartbeat and merge. Breathwork is not used in this listening, and no attention on the breath is needed.

1. Begin by focusing your attention on the mid-point of the eyebrows (knot of time). Stay focused for about three minutes on this point.

2. Move your attention to the heart point (knot of space) - feel the centre of the chest that is the most sentient point (most sensitive point below the third rib on the sternum). Hold your focus for about three minutes.

3. Finally bring your attention to the front of the bladder (knot of energy). Hold your focus here for the remainder of the recording.

No physical or muscular pressure should be applied during this mental repose. Do not manifest tension in the body with forceful mental concentration. Simply focusing in these points will guide the subtle energy deeper into the three knots: time, space and energy. Please use good speakers or high quality headphones when listening and meditating.
